Versatility
ESH is the most versatile hydro extractor of the POZZI line. It was designed mainly for the treatment of rope material; however, it can receive completely different loads, such as dye-baskets of socks,  containers for ready-made garments, packages and other textile forms like hanks and cakes. It can also be used for the hydro-extraction of cakes of loose fibres.

Effortless loading
This machine, thanks to the particular configuration of the open rimmed basket, makes the function of loading and unloading of the product to be hydro-extracted much easier. It also allows for the introduction of a container, of the same diameter of the basket, which can be rigged up to receive textile products. Nets can also be used to move the material. The hydro-extractor is fitted with two coaxial covers lifted up together. The internal cover closes the opening of the basket and rotates with the same. The second cover is acting as protection. The blockage system of the lid is by positive action and is controlled by a mechanical device which ensures safety.
The synchronized perfect closure of the two covers is guaranteed by a specific visco-elastic support of the internal cover which adapts the linkage geometry of the various elements.

Working with fabrics
The operations of loading and unloading of fabrics are carried out with an open lid and a slow rotation of the basket, clockwise and anti- clockwise. An optional system of loading by roller, fitted with a plating device allows for the regular fill-up of all the basket. At the end of the hydro-extracting operation, the unloading comes about in the same way but with an inverted rotation.

Stability and low maintenance
A strong point which is surely fundamental for a hydro-extractor is its stability and resistance to oscillating vibrations.
All  POZZI machines are characterized by a centre of gravity which is particularly low, and by a specific geometry of suspension which guarantees an extraordinary equilibrium and a long working life. The configuration which has been adopted for the system of lubrication of the machine ensures straightforward usage and the minimum of maintenance.

Safety
The hydro-extractor is fitted with a lid with a positive-action blocking system which needs to be driven by crane. A mechanical device ensures a perfect closure. The safety of the machine is also guaranteed by the presence of devices, which conform to CE guidelines. The machine is fitted with an alarm system to control the vibrations with an emergency arrest in the case of excessive vibrations.
The ESH hydro-extractor can be also equipped with Gyrospin: a system of self-balancing, with the ability to equilibrate the unbalanced loads dynamically.

Motorization for every requirement
The rotation of the basket, which in the basic version is driven by a hydrostatic clutch, in the model ESH-AC is through an inverter and a standard AC motor. This version not only maintains the operative characteristics of the base model ESH unchanged, but  it is  studied in such a way that it overcomes all the problems deriving from the use of a traditional mechanical transmission as well.
In fact,  the inverter ensures that the speed of the rotation of the basket can be varied and pre-selected, excluding at the same time not only the mechanical brake group, but also the clutch joint as well .
The starting up of the machine, the reaching of the pre-selected speed, the time of hydro-extraction and the braking, all take place in a completely automatic sequence. Moreover, the use of the inverter allows the basket to rotate even at low speeds in both directions, in order to make the loading and unloading operations easier.
The inverter model, controlling the absorption in a precise way, allows for an unlimited number of starts and braking per hour, thus making the machine more versatile, more reliable and needing the minimum of maintenance.
The machine is available also in the high speed version model ESH-AV-AC.
Another option of controlling the machine is by means of a group of DC motorization. In this case one has the possibility of recovering the energy which is developed in the machine during the braking process. This allows an energy "bonus" and important savings.
Moreover, all POZZI models can be fitted with a system of hydrostatic transmission. This configuration has the advantage of making the machine compatible with even difficult work environments, like potentially explosive ones.
